Felix Jaehn & Leony presents “Waking up”

Felix Jaehn has had an incredibly successful year. However, the artist doesn’t rest on his laurels and enters 2024 with a completely new, energetic hit.

In his recent tracks, Felix has captured the fun-filled, lively atmosphere of large parties and festivals. “Waking Up” is a fusion of party sounds from the 80s with electronic melodies and rhythm. Leony’s vocals enrich this song, making it an ideal choice for challenging mornings when you don’t feel like getting out of bed.

Felix and Leony have been friends since 2019 when the vocalist moved to Berlin, and the artists met through a mutual acquaintance. Since then, they have been creating music together and are excited to release a song that is the result of their collaboration.

“In November, we were on a trip. We sat by the pool, and Leony showed me her ideas for her new music. When we played the first version of ‘Waking Up,’ everyone around knew it was something special,” Jaehn recalls.

The premiere of “Waking Up” will help listeners shake off the past year’s closure and, through dance, leave behind the holiday hibernation.
