Need a break from the pre-holiday mood? SERA and YouNotUs, leading representatives of European pop and EDM, join forces to deliver a solid dose of dance vibrations in their remix of the multi-platinum hit “Call On Me” by Eric Prydz.

Eric Prydz’s house hit took the world by storm in 2004. Now, Dutch star SERA and the German DJ/producer duo YouNotUs transform this classic into a contemporary dance-pop sensation.

First, Justin Bieber joined SERA during an Instagram live, then football giant Cristiano Ronaldo asked her to perform at his birthday party. The artist also appeared at the royal ceremony for the Dutch King’s Day in Breda, performing for 40,000 enthusiastically responsive viewers. Thanks to her distinctive, gritty vocals, SERA quickly gained the status of one of the most exciting newcomers in European pop. Initially attracting attention with covers viewed by millions on her social media profiles, the breakthrough came in 2021 when the now 29-year-old singer released her debut single “Only Us,” which reached the Top 20 in the Netherlands and went gold. Her next track, “Head Held High,” also achieved gold status and quickly garnered over 30 million streams worldwide, along with 45,000 creations on TikTok. After releasing the single “Best Friend,” the artist performed in the summer as the support act for Johannes Oerding. Her TikTok profile is currently followed by over 2.4 million people, SERA can also boast 1.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify and 730,000 followers on Instagram.

With their unique style blending dance, pop, and electro music, YouNotUs see themselves as a bridge between the international club scene and the mainstream. Emerging from the Berlin underground, the DJ/producer duo quickly became one of the driving forces in the global EDM scene. In 2015, YouNotUs found success with a house remake of the hit “Supergirl” by Reamonn. Subsequently, their career included more chart-topping productions, such as “Narcotic,” “Samba,” and “I Swear,” leading to gold, platinum, and finally diamond records. YouNotUs collaborated with international stars like Alle Farben, Nico Santos, James Blunt, Dido, Moguai, Kelvin Jones, Forty, Shift K3Y, and many others. The artists thrilled hundreds of thousands of fans at renowned festivals such as Tomorrowland, Airbeat One, and Gluecksgefuehle Festival. With nearly 4.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify, the duo has performed throughout Europe, South Africa, and Asia.

SERA and YouNotUs have teamed up to revisit Stev Winwood’s 1982 song “Valerie,” which Eric Prydz used to create “Call On Me.” The pulsating bass and modern production, combined with SERA’s sweet yet poignant vocals, have transformed this classic repertoire into a modern dance floor hit.
